Ao3 stats meme

Stolen from lost_spook

1. Your 3 fanfics with the most comments:

On Bated Tooth and Claw
(The Flash (TV), E2!Wells/Barry, 17 comments)

Catch Me If You Can (The Flash (TV), Leonard Snart/Barry, 16 comments)

And I Like You (Gotham, Oswald Cobblepot/Jim Gordon, 14 comments)

...From this I can gather that a lot of people are going to be very happy in about a week. ;)

2. Your 3 fanfics with the most kudos:

There Will Be Blood
(Welcome to Nightvale, Cecil/Carlos, 507 kudos)

Catch me If You Can
(The Flash (TV), Leonard Snart/Barry Allen, 420 Kudos)

On Stormy Seas (The Flash (TV), Leonard Snart/Barry Allen, 375 Kudos)

3. Your oldest fanfic

I've been fanficcing since my early teens, so most of my stuff is probably buried away on LJ somewhere, but since this is an ao3 meme... *Pages back 18 pages holy fuck*

With Curling Hair (Horrible Histories, Alwaysagirl!Charles II/Sotherby)

Starting off the whole thing with genderswap, and establishing an eternal trend. ^^

4. Your latest fanfic:

Probably a few drabbles on comment_Fic? But the latest thing posted on AO3 was:

The Perils of Being a Team Leader
[Justice League International, Booster Gold/Ted Kord + J'onn J'onzz]

5. The fanfic you're most proud of:

I'm British, so this is a difficult question because whenever I'm asked what I'm proud of I start stuttering and eventually explode. Saying that, though, I'm going to crib from the talking meme back in December and say:

And We Are the Monsters [Richard II – Shakespeare/The Tempest – Shakespeare]

Written for an exchange, 20000 words long and one of the trippiest things that I've ever written, still a firm favourite four years later. I just love how all the plot strands came together!

6. Your longest fanfic:

Intra [Horrible Histories/Doctor Who, 33040 words]

I think about 10 or so people have actually read all the way through this fic, but I'm still pretty pleased with it! ^^

8. Your 3 fanfics with the most bookmarks:

Catch me If You Can
(The Flash (TV), Leonard Snart/Barry Allen, 121 bookmarks)

There Will Be Blood
(Welcome to Nightvale, Cecil/Carlos, 116 bookmarks)

On Stormy Seas (The Flash (TV), Leonard Snart/Barry Allen, 52 bookmarks)

...Can I confess to some surprise at On Stormy Seas being so popular? I mean, I'm not complaining. But it's a few hundred words of contextless fluff while my other top ones are all fairly long and plotty. I'm just shocked at how out of place it seems, compared to the rest!

9. Your Top 3 Crossover fics:

I never know what to do with questions like these, because I don't actually like crossovers that much and am thus a little wary of writing them. However, I will list 2 (AND NO MORE HAHA QUESTION!)

Intra [Horrible Histories/Doctor Who]

Delicate Pleasures
[The Avengers/Justice League Cartoon, John Stewart/Sam Wilson]

That is an intriguing meme. I'll save it, just in case. I rarely look at the stats of my fics at AO3 XD

yay for including John/Sam on the list! :DDD

It's quite interesting! And it's nice to be able to see how popular my fics are in relation to each other. :)

I really like them! :D

Wtf, how do you get so many comments/kudos? That's just amazing :D

When this meme says "comments," does it mean comment threads as can be seen on the Stats page or, like, individual comments? Because on one or two of my fics I've held lengthy conversations with a lovely reader, but I wouldn't really count those as "comments" to the fic itself you know xD

Heh, thank you! :) And I don't really know, to be honest! I'm particularly stunned (in a pleasant way), by Catch Me If You Can. HOW DID IT GET THAT MANY BOOKMARKS WHAT EVEN?!?

I was confused by that too! I just counted the comment threads, for the same reason as you. I try to reply to most of my comments, so that just seemed more honest?

lol, it was a rhetorical question anyway. I would have beeen very surprised if you'd been able to answer that! Though looking at my own stats, I want to slink off in shame. ;;

Yeah, I wonder why AO3 doesn't give their users the option to choose between being able to see the number of comments or the number of comment threads in a work.
