Because I'm Meme

I currently have 253 works archived at Ao3. Pick a number from 1 (the most recent) to 253 (the first thing I posted there), and I'll tell you three things I currently like about it

This was going around a few months back, but I like it and so I'm doing it again. :D

(The fact that I've written 253 works is mildly terrifying, though. 253 works! I wonder when that happened.)

111 is Underestimate and Swim (http://archiveofourown.org/works/3140969)! A Superman: the Animated Series story/Drabble focusing on Lois Lane.

Things I like!:

1. This is either my first, or one of my first, stories featuring Lois Lane. Which, considering how much I love her, always gives me a warm feeling.
2. And I think I wrote her quite in character here? Which is always nice. It's only a Drabble, but I like to get it right.
3. It contains a woman (Lois) saving the day herself! Which is always fun to write. ^^

250 is Tiger's Tears (http://archiveofourown.org/works/334417)! Which is a Sherlock fic featuring John Watson/Sebastian Moran.

Things I like!:

1. The title! This was before I mainly started using lyrics as titles, and yet I still think it holds up quite well.
2. The pairing! I found Moran/Watson a really interesting idea based on the book depictions (this was written LONG before series 3, when Moran actually turned up) and I found it fun to actually get down. They're both really interesting characters!
3. The tone! I think it strikes the right balance between hot and sad, which was what I was going for. ^^

Interesting. Thanks for answering! For me coming up with titles is always problematic.

I don't think I could ship it, though. I like Jim/Sebastian too much :)

How about number 4? :D (if I may ask for more than one).

Oh, I don't ship it that much! But I do find it an interesting counterpoint to the two ships (Jim/Sebastian and John/Sherlock) that I do ship. :)

And of course! Number 4 is Just Like A Sport (http://archiveofourown.org/works/4518999), a The Flash (TV) fic that involves Barry/all the rogues

Things I like!:

1. The humour in it. I think I managed to make it quite funny! Which is nice
2. That I finally wrote more Hartley/Barry. I've been meaning to do for a while, and I was pretty pleased with how it turned out!
3. I finally got down a piece of (cracky, but) headcanon that I've had for a while, which is the Rogues schedule thing. ^^

168 is Then Make No Sound (http://archiveofourown.org/works/1978251), a Rivers of London fic with Peter Grant/Thomas Nightingale as the main pairing.

Things I like!:

1. The humour in it. I find writing funny fics kind of terrifying, because I never have any idea if my sense of humour is going to transfer, but judging by the reviews it worked in this case!
2. The dialogue. I think I managed to get it quite snappy and fun, which is nice!
3. The ending! It managed to fit in with the tone, while still implying a lot of what is coming after.
(4. The fact that it led to me getting the most amusing comment that I've ever had. Along the lines of "you must not be British, be she's you used this one word!" Bless.)

Ohh, that book is on my to-read list! And ah, I think your sense of humo(u)r is really distinctive :) and it gets across just fine!

Ahhhhhhh, thank you! And it's a really good series of books, actually, I'd definitely recommend them! :)

72 is On Stormy Seas (http://archiveofourown.org/works/3561887), a the Flash (TV) story that involves Leonard Snart/Barry Allen!

Things I like:

1. The H/C that I managed to get in! I think I managed to get across the seriousness of the situation, but also make it quite fluffy. Which is what I was going for, so!
2. How I wrote the characters. I think I managed to show a different side to them, but still write them largely in character. Barry is a lot less active than he usually is but is still pretty proactive even when he's not really able to move, Len is a lot nicer than he usually is but still a bit of a dick. So I'm glad I managed that!
3. The way I wrote their relationship. I love characters who refuse to admit that they care about each other normally, but absolutely need each other when they're in danger. And I think I managed to get that across quite well here!

Thanks!! I love that fic - the protectiveness and trust are just...mmmmmm.

I thought you did great balancing h/c and seriousness with fluff and all the other things too, I agree :)

18 is Nights in Red Leather (http://archiveofourown.org/works/4310109), a The Flash (TV) fic that's basically an AU where Barry (the main character) is the villain and his rogues are trying to hunt him down.

Things I like!:

1. The team dynamic. I really like writing large groups of characters talking with each other, but also find it quite tricky because I'm never sure who goes where. I think I managed it quite well here!
2. The AU itself. It's not very long, 561 words, but I think I managed to create a good picture of the world even from that. A fair few reviews seemed interested in it, at any rate! (And then asked for more, which :|)
3. The hints of polyamory! It doesn't have much compared to my other Barry/ALL THE ROGUES stories, but it has enough to be quite fun.
